I’m a chemical engineer with particular interest in the use of capillary and microchip electrophoresis to identify and differentiate the many species of algae that could be used for alternative energy sources.
My work history includes both extensive industry experience and extensive teaching in academic settings. The combination has given me special insights into the processes and systems that allow us to apply science and technology to daily life most effectively.
I am a member of AICHE (American Institute of Chemical Engineers) and of AES (American Electrophoresis Society).
